Our enthusiastic band of volunteers help with keeping the museum and it’s equipment in good condition and providing an inviting environment for guests.

Understand how the townsfolk resided, where they visited church and education facilities, what they helped bring from the stores and about the paddle-steamers that frequented regularly, and exactly how their grit and dedication to survival enabled these to endure in this area. The community rekindles memory of the past and of the pioneers who battled to build a city in this inhospitable land.
