In September 2007, Waterkeepers Australia Ltd admitted the River, Lakes and Coorong Action Group Inc. (RLCAG) as the twentieth member and host of the Coorong, Lakes and Murray Waterkeeper Program. It is the only South Australian member organisation.Paul Davis, of Point Sturt, was appointed to take on the role of Coorong, Lakes and Murray Waterkeeper. The Waterkeeper's territory embraces the River Murray from below Lock 1 (near Blanchetown), the Coorong, Lake Alexandrina and Lake Albert Ramsar Wetlands. |
